the Cowardly Lion character in\u00a0<em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em>.\u00a0 As the Lion overcame his fears to help rescue Dorothy and secure the broom from the Wicked Witch of the West, the Wizard rewarded him with a metal of courage.<\/p><p>In the case of the cowardly lion,\u00a0<em>courage<\/em>\u00a0was a virtue that he had suppressed.\u00a0 But it was buried inside.\u00a0 The mission to rescue Dorothy and the support of his companions provided him with the\u00a0<strong><em>clarity<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><em>confidence<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong><em>commitment<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>he needed to muster the courage required to succeed. \u00a0The Hero\u2019s Metal that The Wizard awarded him gave him\u00a0validation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
