predominant motive is either:<\/p><ol><li><strong>To pursue a gain (possibility)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Or, avoid a loss (necessity).<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c2209ff elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c2209ff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Think back to when you were in college. \u00a0And consider the times when you had a major assignment deadline that was several weeks away. \u00a0Were you one of those who waited until the last minute and then burned the midnight oil to complete the assignment? \u00a0Or did you get started right away, methodically plan your work and routinely chip away at the work and coast to the finish line? \u00a0If your college career was filled with\u00a0all-nighters, you\u2019re more likely to be a necessity thinker. \u00a0If not, you\u2019re more inclined to act on possibilities.<\/p><p>Is it possible to be motivated by both possibilities and necessities? \u00a0Of course. \u00a0But we all have a predominant<em>\u00a0modus operandi<\/em>\u00a0that makes us more predictable than most of us would guess. \u00a0Those collegiate behaviors of yours\u00a0are a good indicator of how you act and\/or postpone\u00a0taking action today.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-59e8170 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"59e8170\"
