ever found yourself using this disqualifying phrase? \u00a0Either to yourself or to others? \u00a0Why did you say it? Were you trying to:<\/p><p>Avoid the responsibility for getting others\u00a0to take action and\u00a0<em><strong>buy<\/strong>\u00a0something<\/em>?<\/p><ul><li>Admit you lacked the persona to make sales?<\/li><li>Distance yourself from those unprofessional, commissioned, so-called sales people out there who try to manipulate you\u00a0to buy\u00a0<strong>more<\/strong>\u00a0or buy\u00a0<strong>now<\/strong>\u00a0regardless of our actual needs?<\/li><\/ul><p>If you\u2019ve been\u00a0disqualifying yourself as a \u201csales person\u201d, let me help you to be more realistic. \u00a0I believe you must \u201cin\u00a0sales\u201d in the course of doing your job. I am NOT saying that you need to become\u00a0<em>that guy<\/em>\u00a0in the photo. He\u2019s a\u00a0poster child for bad sales behavior. \u00a0Let me explain further by asking\u2026<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element of\u00a0<strong>selling<\/strong>\u00a0something.<\/li><li>Getting someone to\u00a0<strong>buy<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p>Before you say \u201c<em>That\u2019s\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0me<\/em>\u201c, realize there are at least two types of transactions that require a buyer and a seller:<\/p><ol><li>Tangible, monetary transactions and<\/li><li><strong><em>Intangible, non-monetary transactions<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Consider type #2 and these examples of\u00a0intangible, non-monetary\u00a0<em>sales<\/em>.<\/p><ul><li><strong>The transfer of knowledge<\/strong>: Teachers and Educators who are responsible for getting their students to learn and apply new insights and skills.<\/li><li><strong>Influencing Behavior<\/strong>:\u00a0Health Care workers charged with getting patients to modify their habits or accept treatment.<\/li><li>Organization and Team\u00a0<strong>Leaders<\/strong>\u00a0who introduce new initiatives that need\u00a0<strong><em>buy-in\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>to succeed.<\/li><li><strong>Socially<\/strong>: Organizing a group of friends to meet for dinner\u00a0at your favorite restaurant.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2b8cc9b
