data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On Thursday October 29, 2020\u00a0 I became a <em>Hall of Famer <\/em>in my field.\u00a0 At the Fall Power Summit for <em>The Trusted Advisors Network<\/em>, I was inducted into their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trustedadvisorsnetworkllc.com\/hall-of-fame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Hall of Fam<\/strong><\/em><strong>e<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 This was unexpected. While the Network is over 30 years old, their Hall of Fame is relatively new.\u00a0 So becoming a Hall of Famer could not have been a long time goal or aspiration.\u00a0 But I can share that I used the Trusted Advisors Strategic Thinking process to write my original business plan. The process guided me to consider the desired perceptions of all my business stakeholders. I wrote about how I wanted to become a &#8220;<em>valuable and respected member of their affiliate network&#8221;<\/em>.\u00a0 I now believe that enabled the power of the Law of Attraction.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-92bcd3f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"92bcd3f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">How Does it Feel?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d1a2f9f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d1a2f9f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Upon getting the news, I can&#8217;t say that was at a loss for words. That rarely happens.\u00a0 But I struggled at first to the right words to describe my reaction. At first I felt surprised and flattered.\u00a0 The whole idea needed to sink in. I started my new solo consulting venture from scratch: While I had success as a business leader and manager, I had no real consulting experience, little cash and few connections in my network.\u00a0 What I <strong><em>did<\/em> <\/strong>have was training, support and some powerful tools from the incredible network of brilliant, like-minded people.\u00a0 It&#8217;s important for me to recognize them in light of the recognition they&#8217;ve given me.\u00a0 Tammy Kohl and her team at Trusted Advisors along with all their brilliant affiliates from all over the US have made this moment possible.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Anyone who has ever started a business knows there is no such thing as an overnight success. Then, taken the podium for my acceptance speech. Instead, I sat in my office in front of my webcam to express my gratitude plus some thoughts about my journey. There are no photographs to share.
