The Key to Achievement

“Every achiever that I have ever met says

My life turned around when I began to believe in me.’ ”

–  Robert Schuller

If you can believe Dr. Schuller, ask yourself:

  • What do you really believe about you?
  • What beliefs are you harboring that limit your ability to really pursue your potential?
Belief

Self Limiting Beliefs

We all have our habits. Let’s split them into two categories:

  1. Doing Habits
  2. Thinking Habits

What gets you to try things? Why do you avoid trying?  Is it fair to say that your thoughts drive your actions?  In the words of Henry Ford:

“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.”

Is Trying Enough?

The legendary mentor, Yoda has an opinion. (OK, while he is a fictional character, he had brilliant writers.)

“There Is No ‘Try’ “

Why is Yoda right?  Isn’t trying a half hearted attempt to do without complete belief and commitment to the achievement?

Luke Skywalker needed believe in The Force to do more than try.  You too can “let The Force be with you” once you start believing that “The Force” is YOU.

Can you?  Or will you simply try?

May The Force be with you.
