Our Three Phase Approach to Executive Coaching

We divide your coaching engagement into segments. Each phase of the coaching process builds upon the insights and momentum gained from the preceding phases and sessions.  Each session is focused on the developmental needs of the client: both predetermined needs and needs that are discovered through the coaching process.

Benefits of Our Three Phase Approach

  • Minimizes the risk of an immediate commitment to a long term engagement by allowing you to experience the service before committing to the next phase.
  • Phases 2 and 3 are customized based in the previous insight gained.
  • Develops a stronger connection between the coach and the leader.

Phase 1 Coaching: Self-Discovery Coaching

We are all capable of getting in our own worst enemy. Phase 1 of the Coaching Process provides an opportunity for you to discover where and when that is likely to occur and develop an action plan for making meaningful changes to how you approach both other people and tasks.

Phase 2 Option A Mental Fitness Coaching:

Develop your capacity for handling life’s great challenges with a positive mindset rather than getting stressed and upset.

Phase 2 - Option B Executive Leadership Development Coaching:

This robust, inside-out development process is customized to address your known developmental needs as well as discover new insight and “gap awareness” with your existing leadership skills, attitudes and habits.

Phase 3 Sounding Board Coaching Process

Positive Behavior Change is not instantaneous. Phase 3 serves to reinforce the previous development discoveries while applying newly gained leadership insights to current challenges.

Armed with a foundation of mutual insight into your situation, talent, goals and obstacles the coaching relationship continues to provide you with clarity, confidence and commitment for higher levels of achievement and fulfillment.

Further Process Customization and Phase Enhancements

The phases outlined may be enhanced. Options are often added as new needs are discovered.  Some examples include interviews with the coaching client’s stakeholders, 360 Surveys or Emotional Intelligence Coaching, or Stress Assessment. We typically customize the content of our Executive Leadership Development Process (Phase 2) to address specific needs.
