Consider the business meetings you have regularly.  What Percent of the time are YOU the smartest person in the room?  What about your social gatherings?Think about those times when you are the smartest person in the room and all present would agree that you are.  How does it feel?  Is it rewarding?If you’re genuinely juiced by being a dominant, intelligent force, consider joining the local chapter of The Narcissists Society.  At their meetings, you can mix with like-minded thinkers and everything will be great – until a “who’s smarter” debate begins.

In reality, we all need a healthy level of self esteem to succeed.  When it comes to ego, the trick is to keep an even keel.
